The Zia-ish T-shirt pays homage to our founders 6 years of hard time with the Feds in Las Cruces, New Mexico.
The Zia originates from the Indigenous Zia Pueblo in North-Central New Mexico. The traditional ZIA incorporates four groups of rays pointing in four directions. Each group represents a sacred concept:
- The Four Cardinal Directions: North, South, East, and West.
- The Four Seasons of the Year: Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter.
- The Four Periods of Each Day: Morning, noon, evening, and night.
- The Four Seasons of Life: Childhood, youth, middle age, and old age.
